Manual Lymphatic Drainage - Face and Neck

Soothing  Detoxifying  Rejuvenating

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle yet highly effective treatment designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, reduce fluid retention, and promote overall skin and body health. This specialised massage technique uses light, rhythmic movements to encourage lymph flow, aiding in detoxification, reducing puffiness, and enhancing circulation. It is particularly beneficial for pre- and post-surgery, reducing inflammation and congestion, and is a favourite among those seeking a naturally lifted, radiant complexion.

Developed by Dr. Vodder in the 1930s, the Vodder method of MLD is widely recognised for its precise, non-invasive approach. By using specific stretching and scooping motions on the skin, this technique helps to decongest lymph nodes and activate the parasympathetic nervous system, inducing deep relaxation. MLD also supports the immune, circulatory, and digestive systems.

Your treatment begins with a gentle cleansing of the face and neck using soothing massage techniques, followed by the warmth of gemstone mushrooms or a heated Thai herbal poultice to ease tension, enhance circulation, and prepare the skin for the treatment ahead. The MLD itself is performed on dry skin, using delicate, rhythmic strokes to guide lymph fluid toward the lymph nodes. This process detoxifies the skin while calming the nervous system, leaving you feeling light, refreshed, and deeply relaxed. At the end of the treatment, your skin is further nourished with one of my facial oils, leaving it balanced and hydrated.

While noticeable results can be seen after just one session, a series of treatments is recommended for long-term benefits.
