Also known as French marjoram and in botanical terms as Origanum majorana. I don’t know of anyone who has disliked this aroma. It gives out a warm, spicy, herby fragrance that immediately calms and soothes.

A nutrient packed oil containing more vitamins and natural retinol than any other carrier oil. An essential anti ageing treatment with visible results
Weekly essential oil highlight…Petitgrain
This beautiful oil comes from the bitter orange tree. This incredible tree produces three essential oils, one being Petitgrain.
Weekly essential oil highlight…Ginger
Woody, earthy, pungent, warming, heating and grounding. All the words that you want to hear as the cooler days set in.
Weekly oil highlight…Sea Buckthorn
Not an essential oil this week but I talk about a carrier oil. Without a carrier oil I would struggle to perform an aromatherapy treatment. Just like essential oils a carrier oil has huge properties too.
Weekly essential oil highlight…Clary Sage
Strengthening, restoring and uplifting. A major oil for the nervous system. One powerful oil with a wide range of actions.
Weekly essential oil highlight…Bergamot
Do you smell orange? Maybe lemon, or could it be lime? Think earl grey tea with a slice of lemon.
Weekly essential oil highlight…Sweet Basil
Who would have thought that the pot of basil in your kitchen could be so powerful when the oil is used in aromatherapy? The aroma has me salivating. I adore its properties.
Weekly essential oil highlight…Geranium
Geranium is a little like marmite. You either love it or hate it! Personally I love it. Not the actual plant as I don’t like the aroma at all but the oil I think is amazing….
Weekly essential oil highlight…Nutmeg
Think of the smell of rice pudding. Warming, comforting and calming. A childhood memory for many. Such a complex oil in both its chemistry and aroma. A prime musculoskeletal and psychological oil helping with many emotional issues.
